An adventure of volcanic proportions through Oregon's
volcanic topography. Visit crystal clear Crater
Lake which was the
result of a blast in 5600 BC, estimated to be 43 times
the Mt. St. Helens eruption. Travel south through
the wetlands of the Klamath Basin with abundant wildlife
and recreation at Klamath Lake. The byway travels
on to the California volcanoes of Mt. Shasta and Mt.
Lassen. |
